After completing my bachelors I am applying to MBA schools in the US. Since I am working for my father’s firm, I started out with the position of Company Director and I’m planning to work for a year before I start. Does my situation provide a competitive edge in the admission process since I’m already in top management of a very successful company although it’s family owned?
Yes. It will certainly help if your company has a successful background and reputation. But getting into a good B-School will also depend on your GMAT and college scores.
