Start slowly by having small casual conversations with people around you, like in the grocerey store, in class, etc. Little by little helps. Check out half.com for books
First thing first… I wish to know if you are tongue tied to talk or… if you feel that there is lack of quality in your initiated or responded conversations. If its the first one please try to shed that shy image. If its the second one… believe me… vocabulary does helps… But its the precision in converting your clear thinking in to words is…what matters. For this… Please get surrounded by intellectually stimulating people. Read political and business editorials. And watch news analysis. Read books and try different thought for a single problem. Some times chose sides where you are confident not at all… and try to discover new lights
