  1. I am going to attempt to answer your question. Contrary to what was told to you in previous answers it is possible to gain admission to a U.S. Business school without the GMAT. However, these schools are not ranked at the top and can’t compete in some cases with high profile schools such as University of Chicago or University of Pennsylvania.
Before you choose a school ask yourself is it really worth to spend money on top ranked schools that are very expensive or spend less money at lower ranking schools. The answer is that it depends. If you already have a good job and are looking to advance in within your company or you just want to earn your MBA for hell of it you may want to stay away from high profile schools their curriculums are very demanding which may be too much to handle with a busy schedule. On the other hand if you are trying to get your foot in at a major corporation with a good starting Salary a high ranking school may be worth the investment. Whichever route you choose almost every school has an online program to choose from. The only thing I would recommend is to stay away from for profit schools like Phoenix, Devry, Strayer. These schools have online attached to their name. Whereas if you go to a school like let’s say Georgetown University which has an excellent MBA and also offers distance learning courses. Also, make sure that your MBA is accredited by the AACSB or the ACBSP. AACSB is preferred but ACBSP is ok.
I would visit these websites to help you find a good Business school:
    http://www.aacsb.edu
    http://www.acbsp.edu
    http://www.businessweek.com
    http://www.usnews.com

  2. Consult the Official MBA Guide. It’s a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, joint degrees, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It’s the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.

  3. Your question is very wage. If you want to do your MBA here in US then you have to take the GMAT exam. It all depends on your GMAT score. No one here will give you admission without it. I don’t know how it works in India but i am sure if you get to come to US through your school in India then you will need to meet the requirements according to the Indian standards which i don’t know anything about.

  4. don’t do correspondence MBA.
